Freshman Julia Liguore netted her first career goal as a Redbird, on the assist from freshman Katie O'Malley, but Illinois State dropped its first game of the 2023 season 3-1 to Indiana on Thursday night.
The Hoosiers struck first netting one at the 19th minute and the scored remained for the first period. The Redbirds trailed by one going into the second half, but only six minutes into second period play, the Redbirds earned their first corner kick of the night. Katie O'Malley sent one into the box to connect with Julia Liguore's right foot for the finish.
